Coming up with a years curriculum

I have never had to do this. This year I will be teaching 2 students that are at different levels. One is DCD and the other is EBD about 2 years behind the other sixth grade students. I teach at a charter school that doesn't have any curriculum. Any suggestions or a plan of attack? TIA☺

Even though your school doesn't have a curriculum, your state should have learning standards.

If you have a while before school starts back, I would focus on setting up what you are going to teach for the first semester. If you are starting soon, try to map out at least 2-4 weeks worth of work.

I would focus on core subjects and their IEP goals.
