I liked the show, and laughed a lot, until the end. I thought the ending was very disappointing. When Sheldon was dreaming and he walked in on Santa in the livingroom, the Santa should have turned out to be his Pop-pop. He could have said something like, "I had to leave and take someone's place." or the Santa could have said something like, "You can be with Pop-pop again. There IS a heaven. But you have to believe."

Just thought the ending was very inmature and crappy. I also get tired of them making fun of Christians.

I understand your frustration, however, Sheldon would not have been dreaming about Santa in that way. He was raised by a very devout Christian mother, and it obviously traumatized him. He is a very logically minded science guy, and would not have looked at Santa that way. Also, I question the idea bridging Santa together with Christianity, as Santa is not a religious figure.

It sounds as though you need to rethink watching this show if it conflicts with your spiritual beliefs.

Just because he did not agree with his mother's relious beliefs, does not necessarily mean he was traumatized. Of course, he is just a character on a show. I was just saying I would have ended the show differently.

The tradition of Santa Claus is based on the real St. Nicholas.
