i'm bringing Candied Carrots to Christmas dinner.

i'll be cooking the carrots (boiling) then mixing with cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter. I want to keep them warm for about an hour or 2---can I put them in the crock pot without getting too mushy?

Yes I think that will work. Maybe just cook them to the very edge of done as they will continue to cook some even on the warm setting.

I would just undercook them a bit so that that they don't get mushy.

thanks--that's what i'll do! I just hate to show up with them in a dish cooled down or show up with them in a pot and have to use the stove.

Love the Warm feature of my crockpot. It's perfect for that!
Merry Christmas
