Shared Room Team Teaching

Clip to ScrapBook #1

My colleague and I will be team teaching a 2/3 multiage group in the same room this year. This is new to my school and I want it to be a success for us all! If you have done this (especially the teaming), will you please share your best tips for making it the best that it can be? I am assuming that communication is the biggest component. Thanks for your help!

respect your partner - put your things away-give things back if you borrow- leave the area ready for her to use without having to move your things. If you are a good teammate it will be so helpful to both of you. I'd also go over these little things with her so she is doing the same for you rather than letting things slide.

Learn to work with the kids quietly. For those of us who are a tad ADD, that other adult voice in the room is way too distracting.

Two great tips that I believe we will both do very well at! Thank you!
