Co-worker gifts?

Do you give holiday gifts to your team and/or neighbor teachers, and do you give anything to your custodians? What are good, affordable gifts? I used to get inexpensive ($5 or so) amaryllis (flower bulb) kits and give them to all the staff I was close to plus the principal, but they've become almost impossible to find. Most of the teachers liked them because they could grow them in the classroom and use them to teach graphing, etc. Our building courtesy committee can't give support staff anything this year due to lack of contributions, so the 3 custodians are on my mind also. I might be able to go in with a couple of other teachers on the custodians' gifts. But what do I get for the classroom teachers (K-2 & SPEd), one of whom is male? Thanks for your suggestions!

My dear para and I agreed not to buy gifts for each other. Instead we pooled our money and bought a gift certificate for a premade christmas dinner for our coworker who's husband is dying.

Custodians.....

We have a Wendy's not far from our school. Our custodians go there occasionally in the evenings for their dinner break. We get them coupons from there.
I get the teachers on my team something. It is usually Christmas related, but this year, I am giving them scarfs from the universities they graduated from.
I don't get the office staff presents. Our p and vp don't want them (and were very vocal) and our secretary's religion prohibits it.
Do you have a Cold Stone or other ice cream place with gift cards? Many people would like that.

I saw potted bulbs at Target.

With 10 co workers in my grade level, I might make something. This is my first year at the school. I'm sped so I work more closely with 2 teachers and I have 2 people who have been my para subs. I might get scratch off lottery tickets for them.

Soaps, lotion, or antibacterial stuff makes great coworkers gifts. I like to give them something consumable...

Target has lots of affordable holiday-themed food items in their Christmas section. I'm giving chocolate dipped pretzel rods this year. They work for male and female teachers. One custodian is getting a gift card, and the other a basket from Costco that wasn't too pricey. Our teachers went in on a gift card for the secretaries and the custodians, but I like to give my own recognition of them in a gift, so I didn't participate.

I am thinking that I am going to do one of these for some of my co-workers this year:

I have always been told to not give gifts to bosses. However, our principal is very vocal about wanting gifts so if I give to the office staff I will (have to) include him as well. Although, I am thinking about only doing it for my grade level team members.

Our team doesn't give gifts to each other. Not sure if others in the building do. We are in a very large building so the social committee/gift committee takes care of gift cards to administration.
Honestly, I like it that way.

I got my kindergarten team members each a copy of the book, "The Night Before Christmas". It was a Kohl's Cares for kids book this fall.
