I always take our tree down on New Yearís Day. I have nothing planned tomorrow, so I was thinking of taking the decorations down. Iíve never done it this early, but it works out better because I will have gd New Yearís Eve for a sleepover and dinner with my family on New Yearís Day. Dh doesnít mind when I take it down, so I guess itís tomorrow.

We took ours down late. We waited until Dec. 27. Usually it is down Christmas Day or the day after.

My DH took all the outside decorations down today. It was 57 degrees in Chicago which is highly unusual. So we took them down.
Iíll work on taking down the inside decorations tomorrow and Tuesday.

My daughter's birthday is 12/27, so we have scrubbed all traces of XMAS on the 26th for 19 years.

I put a bunch of Christmas stuff away today. I leave my snowman stuff out for a couple months since I live in NH.

We took ours down on Christmas Day this year as a gift to our cats . They no longer need to be locked in the bedroom when we leave the house.

Our younger son and family can't get here until 1/3, so all the decorations and the tree will stay up until we exchange family gifts on 1/4.

There's nothing wrong with taking the tree down early. We usually wait for New Year's Day but have taken the tree down earlier if it was more convenient.

My tree was down the day after I believe. All other decor is still up and I just don't have the desire to take it down. One day...

Mine will be up a while longer. We didnít have time to take it down between our Christmas road trip and my surgery. DH wonít do it, so it will be up until I feel like I can take it all down. Thought Iíd enjoy it, but Iím kind of ready for it to come down. Oh well.

We usually keep the tree up until January 1st.

This year we traveled out of state the day after Christmas and we had a real tree so it came down that morning. I was worried about it getting to dry while we were gone.

If it was an artificial tree, I would have left it up.

On a side note, my ex loved Christmas trees so much that it was not uncommon for him to keep his artificial tree up until mid March!

Well, I've never taken ours down before the end of January, but mine never fully got decorated this year since I didn't host Christmas this year.

So...mine came down today. I'm shocked and my DH is going to be even more surprised.

However, in it's place I put a small outdoor prelit (clear bulbs) tree so that I can have white lights throughout January. They help with my mood immensely.
