My phone sits on a charging pad. Once in a while they donít ďconnectĒ and a few months ago I figured out (with a great deal of experimentation and stress) that turning the phone off and back on solves the problem.

Forward to today. Phone not charging. No problem, I know what to do. Problem: my phone WILL NOT turn back on. Iíve had this problem before, but it always came around. Not today. So I googled and found this is not an uncommon glitch with the X. I followed the simple instructions and Iím back in business.

And I didnít whine to 1 single person.

My son, who is a very techy 29 yo, said that he always googles to find tech answers. So you are as techy as he is!

Yay, you!

when I figure something out (or even remember how to do something the second time after someone shows me).

To demonstrate how bad I am, my son is my admin and I am not allowed to download anything unless he checks it out. I guess he got tired of having to rescue me from viruses and malware.

news! I used to ask for help from tech savvy colleagues! Since I retired, Google and YouTube are my new best friends. My DH has no patience with figuring out tech problems.
