Mom update

As some of you may remember, I had a bit of a mental health/old age crisis with my mom in June. She was in the hospital a week (they didn't find anything significant) and she was released to me. She is gradually getting better...very slowly. She is up more, back on the internet and she has even been outside doing a bit of trimming.

The Cipralex didn't work and her doctor won't prescribe anything else until she goes in (she not ready for that yet). I just started her on CBD oil today to help with her mobility and aches and pain. Hopefully, that will help some.

All in all, considering I hadn't seen her in a year before she went into the hospital (wouldn't see anyone), we are moving forward. We are definitely in a better place than we were 3 months ago.

My thoughts are with you. I know how hard it is to care for an adult. Take care of yourself, too, CatLove.

It is very stressful when we have to step in to help our parents through a crisis. I'm sorry that you are going through this and I hope the situation gets better.

Gradual is better than no improvement at all. Hang in there. Sending prayers for your mom to continue to heal.

If she is on a blood thinner, CBD may react negatively with it. Just FYI.
