Looking for a job

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I've been on the fence about looking for a new teaching job. My current job is very far from my home, but I love working under my principal. However, she informed us last week that she will be resigning at the end of this school year. That kind of made my mind up for me, as well. I am going to look for something in my town. I'm just not sure what to say to her in an email letter letting her know I'm looking. I'm sure she will get reference calls, and I don't want her to be surprised or to find out that way. What should I say?

Thanks in advance for any opinions!

with her and tell her what you've told us. I'm sure she'll understand and maybe even be able to help you find a new job! If I were her, I'd be flattered that you liked working with me so much! Good luck!
