DH has permission to practice his bagpipes at my school. Iím in a gazebo reading my kindle while he practices under that awning. Since the parks are closed, he needed a new place to practice where he wouldnít disturb anyone.

Ooh Ima that looks nice. And Munchkins I like the gazebo!!! This is a stump in water at a park near my house. I always thought it looked spooky.

I had a very vivid dream last night that I saw an albino cardinal and was able to photograph it. I thought to myself that it would make a spectacular picture for Photo Friday. Alas, no photo!

I think I may have had that dream based on seeing both a male and female cardinal up close yesterday as they drank from the birdbath on our deck. No photo of that, though.

Loving everyoneís actual photos!

We took a drive after a gloomy day. It cleared up and we were able to enjoy a view near a lake.

Zipline, your preemie blankets look so soft and delicate!
I admire your skill in making them and also providing them to the NICU!

Painting Sessions Online
Old 04-24-2020, 05:53 AM

Found an area business that charges $10 for a Zoom painting session. They hold 3 per day! Wish I could do them all, but not enough hours in the day.

This is my 4th one. Compared to my first one, I've improved greatly.

The flowers were the hardest part, which surprised me. By the time we got to those, I was exhausted due to wanting my mountains to be perfect. They look like dancing flowers!

What I really love is that it keeps me calm and sane.

I went for a drive yesterday. The baby wouldn't nap and the toddler was whiny and mama needed a break. They both fell asleep and I just sat in the car by the shore listening to the waves and smelling the salt. I was in a much better frame of mind for the rest of the day. It will be a long summer if we can't go to the beach.

I saw an eagle on the way home too!.

Mama owl and one of the three babies. The other two jumped down into the burrow before I got my phone out of my pocket. This one was just curious. I love watching them, although they do interrupt my walk. There are 3 burrows on my route, all with babies.

Our grandchildren are sheltering with us.
DGD and I built a fort yesterday.
It was part of her learn-at-home assignment for Kindergarten.

ETA --- picture won't upload. Guess my phone camera is too good. I will have to reduce the picture size.

I'm going to post a 2nd photo today - all our grands. The first 3 are our oldest DD's kids, the baby was born on 4/15. The last is our other DGD that was born 12/22. Waiting impatiently to be able to travel, we want to see the new addition and the big sister and brother.

Iím the one with long hair on the left.
