I need help--Update

I would like to say a huge thank you to those who reached out to me. I can't tell you how much that helped. It meant a great deal to me. PT is an amazing group!

I spent most of yesterday reading my Bible and praying. After several dead ends, I believe I have found an online support group. I am currently awaiting their approval of me as a member. While it isn't ideal, it is much better than trying to go through this alone.

This is, without a doubt, the hardest thing I have ever been faced with in my 56 years. As always, your prayers are very appreciated as we move forward in this difficult journey.
Queenie

Iím glad you have found a resource to start with. Man is not meant to be alone. Even if the group doesnít fit your needs exactly, chances are there will be wisdom there.

Breathe. One day at a time.

I'm so glad you've found a potential support group! I would be surprised if there weren't a lot of communities and support groups with a stronger, more active online presence right now. My heart goes out to you. I have been thinking about you, although I didn't respond to your other post.

I'm glad you were able to find a support group. Even if it isn't "ideal", it may lead to something else. Thinking of you.

The best news is that you didn't give up after hitting those first few 'dead ends'. You continued searching and were able to find a group that will potentially get you through this difficult period. Even if this online group is only temporary, I pray it will give you something to hold on to, while you continue moving forward towards the answers you need. Thank you for the update!

I just received a letter today from my insurance company offering help to manage stress, etc. Have you called your insurance company for assistance? They may have resources and tools to help you at this stressful time in our lives. My insurance company is HorizonBlue - and are teaming up with professionals from Ableto, Inc. They are providing counseling services by phone or video, privately at home.

I pray that you can find some relief - I know how hard it is to deal with anxiety.

I hope the online support group helps. It"s always good to have others to listen, even online and not in person.

I love your user name. That's one of my favorite books, as well as the other books by Robert Burch.

Going through this truly is the most difficult thing in one's life. Even if only online I am glad you found support. I belong to two online support groups for parents of children with mental illness and it does help. You realize you not by any means alone.
