These are for osteoporosis and supposed to be taken once a month at the same time. However, I forgot!! Tomorrow will be the 5th...do you think I can take it tom? I can't take it now because you're supposed to take first thing in the morning with a full glass of water then not lay down or eat for an hour. What do you think? Any pharmacist husbands out there? TIA

What happens if you forget to take ibandronate?
If you miss a dose and your next dose is more than 7 days away then take the missed dose on the next morning you remember. Then take your next dose on your regular day of the month. If your next dose is due within the next 7 days then skip the missed dose. Do not take 2 tablets within 1 week of each other.

I take that medication. It will definitely be OK to take it tomorrow. For example, I normally take mine on the 15th. Occasionally that just doesn't work for some reason (like I have to be up and out the door so early that it's impractical to have an hour between when I get up and when I need to eat breakfast).

And it's once a month (not once every 28 days) and months have different lengths. A couple days really won't matter. On the other hand, if that actually worries you, you could always change the med day to the 5th of the month.
