Hey guys! I'm EC generalist and I was reading C2 again (I'm retaking) and I may have misunderstood last time I read it. When it says connected text, it means the individual's writing, right? Meaning first sample I take from student 1 doesn't have to be the same prom[t as the first sample from student 2? (So one could be something like a poem but the other student a story?)

I would double-check your directions, but that was what it meant for mine (EA/ELA). Student 1's work could be different from Student 2's work, or they could be the same. There are benefits and drawbacks to either: doing all different work means you are showing a range of assessment and teaching strategies. Doing all the same prompts means you are showing how you differentiate prompts for each students' needs/interests/goals/etc. I ended up doing the same prompt for work sample #1 for both students, and then for work sample #2, I did two different prompts. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response! I thought I could use different prompts but I was worried that I was misreading something.
