Hair question

I have thick, thick hair that reaches my bra strap. All one length. The texture is fairly fine with a very slight wave. I color my hair. My problem is that I get horrible tangles. Today I had it up in a ponytail for my walk. It was very windy. I have a mess. Then when I brush it out, I end up pulling hair out. Sometimes a lot. Suggestions for a good detangling spray for dry hair. I have no problems with wet hair.

Try Matrix Instacure. My hairdresser suggested it for me to use with my sister who has dementia and has very long, thick, thick hair and it gets tangled very easily. You can use on dry hair. I had a hard time finding it but eventually found it at JC Penney hair salon.

I have the opposite of your hair, fine, thin, and straight. It gets very tangled when wet. I use Its a 10 Lite spray. Just a few spritzes on tangled clumps and they brush right out.

I use it on my daughter's hair at night (dry), her hair is to her waist and tangles easily.
