Today's small accomplishment

This is so Amiga doesn't have to start one.

Mine is twofold. Getting out of bed earlier than 8. Second is getting out of the house by 9:30. Notice number 2 isn't quite done, so this is a goal, but I am going to do it. I want a looong walk and another boat ride before the clouds and rain come in.

I am going to claim a not so small accomplishment. ALL of my laundry is done, folded, and put away - including towels, sheets, and socks. I told DH he is not allowed to change his clothes.

Way to go, kahlua! I wish I could boat ride, too, and Iím kind of hoping to be accomplishment-free today.

I packed up a swimsuit to return to Swim Outlet; it's only been sitting here two weeks. Also printed out all of the standards I needed for planning this year. On to other things, including helping DD22 finish packing for her flight to Seattle tomorrow. (Tomorrow! Waaaah. )

I updated a TPT calendar with this year's dates. It's my favorite, and the seller has not updated it due to a family tragedy.

Now I need to take my shower and get dressed!

I have 4 minutes to get out of here!

Sometimes no accomplishment is actually an accomplishment!

BTW, LOVED the meme, Amiga! Later friends!

I called the pediatrician's office about getting double-billed and then made an appt for DS, made an appt for a recall for my car, and mopped the kitchen. And got up early to get in my workout and get home before the Internet company shows up to fix our line. (They will show up anytime between 8-5. So annoying.)

I loathe making phone calls, so those were a big deal for me.

I cleaned out underneath my bathroom sink. And feeling accomplished, I then tidied up the medicine cabinet. I only had to throw away 3 expired things...which for me is impressive. Normally I do a clean out and notice everything we own is now expired.

Now I am eating toast...feeling proud.

I scheduled electrician, granite, cabinet, and concrete contractors. Paid for the hot tub. Yesterday we emptied my son's room, pulled up the carpet/pad/tack strips, and disposed of it all. Off to buy the flooring and start installing.

I want all this shiz done before school starts. Wish me all the luck!

Mississippi Pot Roast in crock pot, brisket on the smoker.

Letting the lawn die is easy, lol. We will demo the lawn and replant in the spring.

No fair posting major accomplishments on this thread! You're making me feel lazy.

Each is small in itself...it's the accumulation that gets overwhelming. Boy howdy, we have bit off more than we can chew!

Got up early, drank a lot of water, did some needed returns (see the Amazon returns at Kohls store if you want to know more, lol), did laundry.
Now I need to motivate myself to make a certain phone call I've been pushing off for the past week or so.

I did some work in the yard.

DH cut some (more!) branches off the trees, but had to go to work before dragging them to the neighbor's burn pile. My wonderful neighbor and I hauled those to the burn pile. I also picked up sticks and branches inside our privacy fence and burned them in our fire pit. I feel like I got a lot done, but it was only 4000 steps. It's okay. There's a lot to do inside the house to get the rest of my steps.

I love hearing everybody's accomplishments or lack thereof.

I checked off about eight or nine super small accomplishments off my "to do list"! It was a list of those super annoying little things that need to be done but are inconvenient and no fun at all... buy queen size pillowcases / buy throw pillows for the guest bedroom / get ice from Sonic / clean kitchen at church / etc. etc. etc.

The good news is I'm almost done.

The bad news is the last thing on the list is weigh in at Weight Watchers.

small accomplishment

I cleaned a broom. I soaked it all night in warm water and dish soap, and this morning I put it on the balcony to dry. When I went to get it, I couldn't find it and was wondering where on earth it could have gone. Did someone take it? Why would they take an old broom? After some effort I figured out that it had been blown down two floors and was lying in a patch of grass. It was still reasonably clean, so I felt quite accomplished.

My small accomplishment was cooking hot dogs on the grill for me and my kids. I don't remember the last time that I grilled something since my dh always does it.
