Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am teaching Sunday school (2nd grade) and have a couple of students diagnosed with ADHD. They already did very little the first week and were quite disruptive. I am hoping a fidgit toy will help them. The Rabbi has agreed to buy some, but wants links-suggestions? Other ideas? I try not to have kids sit too long, but they didn’t participate or get up for human bingo. They did okay sitting when I read, “Have you filled a Bucket.”

Have a high functioning autistic boy. Wasn’t disruptive, but was too tired to do the Bingo. Again did ok for the story.

The day is 2 1/2 hrs, 30 minutes is prayer first thing, then the schedule varies. We do have recess/snack each week for 20 minutes. I think we have a special (music, gardening or cooking) each week for 20 minutes, but the timing of it changes each week, so I can’t get them into a routine. Any suggestions are appreciated.
