I'm heading to the outer banks tomorrow - yay! I've been there once but it was 20ish years ago and I don't remember much. Any must see/do activities?

We liked the Wright Brothers site, the lighthouses, and the aquarium.

Please check your destinations and travel routes before you get there. Okracoke Island was hit hard by Hurricane Dorian, and there may be other areas struggling with storm cleanup.

. . . keep an eye on the weather forecast!

It's a nice place to visit and to walk. I remember there are lots of cats there. I enjoyed seeing them.

I'm not sure what part of the Outer Banks you will be in, but the lighthouse in Hatteras is worth a visit. Tortuga's Lie in Nag's Head is a great restaurant.
