Finally not dizzy and back to school

Thank God! I have been doing the Epley maneuver for weeks under the care of an audiologist. She said that I would have to be dizzy-free for three consecutive days before discontinuing the exercises. I feel like I am finally there!

I went back to school two weeks ago. I was a little dizzy if I moved too quickly or looked up/down too much. This week I am not feeling dizzy, but have a cold and a cough. I can't wait to feel 100% better. I feel like it has been a very long journey since July 5. I have taken some wrong turns. But I am finally arriving at being my healthy and happy self. Thanks for all your support and prayers!

Wonderful news. We take our health for granted until problems arise.

That's so wonderful! I posted in your previous threads...been getting dizziness since mid-2017 for seemingly no apparent reason.

My MRIs and blood test recently came back...they looked good and NO MS.

Coincidentally, I brought up about the Epley Maneuver on my last visit...my neuro and NP sure wouldn't have and she agreed to give me a referral for the therapist who does that. It's not an audiologist in my case. So far, she just said, "therapist", so it will be interesting to see what this person does. Since it helped you, hopefully, it will for me too!

Hooray for no MS! I'm hoping the the Epley works for you! It took about 3 weeks doing the Epley 3 times a day for me to feel better. And another week or so before the dizziness was gone. Don't give up! Keep us posted!

Glad you are getting better. A while back, I had a short bout with dizziness and nausea as a result of an ear infection. It was scary wondering if and when the symptoms would go away. I hate to hear of anyone going through any type of sickness.

Being dizzy is absolutely miserable! I am so happy to hear you are finally feeling better! I know you are relieved!

I just saw this post and glad the Epley maneuver worked for you! I had Vertigo for the first time 6 months ago and thought I was having a stroke!! Went to the ER and they ruled out all the bad stuff. My husband looked up the Epley maneuver and I did it at home several times and it worked!!

Love youtube
