I try to keep up with most of what's current. How did I miss what Netflix and Chill really means?

Welcome to my rock. I knew that one but at least twice this week I used that phrase “What rock have I been living under?”

I guess a few of us live under a rock. I didn’t know there was a meaning to Netflix.

I discovered something very cool the other day while baking a three layer cake. The rock for me was lifted when I took the time to watch a YouTube instructional video. I had no idea that bakers shave off the very top levels of the cake rounds ,turn the rounds over and frost the bottoms. The bottoms become the tops. Have fun with the Netflix thing

There was just a whole thread about this on Not So Wimpy 5th Grade Teacher You're not alone but I don't know how you missed it either.

I just learned about VSCO girls recently, though. I have a hydroflask with stickers.

We all have our trendy blindspots

That expression drives me nuts because it doesn't match it's meaning. A lot of us really do just watch tv and relax!

Have no idea what it means. Other than a streaming service

came in very upset because her daughter's dance studio had a costume party last Halloween and one of the instructors came in wearing PJs and had a sign..Netflix and Chill! Thankfully, her daughter was too young to understand what it referred to.

So, yes I do sometimes live in a bubble, but I knew what that meant. Now, I can't decide if that makes me current or should I be embarrassed that I know?

I knew that. Now, I realize that one can use the cake strips moistened in water around the outside of the pan, and then place a few flower nails in the center of the cake, bake on convection and it comes out completely flat! My husband is still sobbing about my discovery because he always got to eat the part I cut off to level the cake with the left over fillings and frosting. !

BTW-no sympathy for him. He should be on a low carb. diet.

Ooh, I'm so "with it!" I knew what that meant! There are plenty of things I don't know, though. I find out about them from my kids sometimes, if I hear about them somewhere else (usually here ). I think I heard about Netflix and chill here a while back, actually!
