Update on 3rd grade long term sub

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Yesterday and today were the last day for state testing for 3rd grade.
I was pulled to proctor in another class and 2 teachers administered and proctored my long term 3rd grade class.
I came into the class with one of the teachers lecturing them that in all the years of state testing she has never seen a class behave like this.
One girl burped 20 times and called it burp anxiety, one girl hiccuped several times, one girl after finishing the test started loudly sobbing for 20 minutes and the autistic boy made noises and the severe adhd blurted out several times.
The last day is Friday May 31 and I’m taking a mental health day Monday.

I’ve never encountered a class like this in all my years testing either!!!
Thank you for reading

How in the world were these kids not put in a “disrupters” group and separated from the rest of the class? Not blaming you at all, and I completely understand why you’re taking a Mental Health Monday. May 31st cannot come too soon, I am sure.

Burp anxiety...Lord help us all.
