Downton - possible spoiler

It was wonderful to see those old friends again. I thought it felt different than the series, though.
The Dowager had so many zingers, which I loved.
It seemed like there could be another movie in the future, although we may have to get by without Maggie Smith.
I might try to see it again before it leaves the theater.

We hope to go either this evening or tomorrow evening. We are enjoying beautiful weather this weekend so a matinee doesn't make sense. We did just watch a special on NBC called return to Downton Abbey, which was about the movie. You can find it on demand if you are interested.

to see Downton Abbey movie. I really enjoyed it. I donít think someone who didnít watch the series would enjoy it or be as interested in the characters. Watching the series gives you a lot more background, which helps to have interest in the movie. The ending leaves the possibility of another movie. I think this is the first movie that I have been to that the entire theatre erupted in applause at the end of the movie! If you are a fan of the series , it is a must see!

Glad to hear it lived up to expectations. I'll have to make a point to see it. I hope it sticks around for a few weeks. Darn work or else I'd go during the day

I saw it yesterday with DH, BFF, her DH, and her daughter. We loved it. We had all seen the entire series, so we followed everything great. Iíve seen the series twice.

I went with friends yesterday and we all loved it. We were thinking the same about another movie in the future...or a spin off series.

I saw it yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It was a bit like catching up with old friends. Iím not sure that someone who didnít watch the series would enjoy it as much though.

I saw it yesterday too. I really enjoyed the movie and realized how much I have missed these characters. I agree there is the possibility of another movie in the future. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I can hope.
