I have a coworker that puts her books in long rectangular, plastic flower boxes. We both have long countertops so it was a great way for her to store books!

You could use flower pots for supplies on the tables. I also make flower pens with cheap flowers, floral tape, and pens and put them in pots with rocks.

A friend of mine used white fencing (Walmart or Lowes) to block off an area to be used for guided reading.

is a great book about children needing different things. We all have gifts, and we all learn in different ways. My class always uses this book at the beginning and ending of each year. We all made our own flowers and put our pictures in the center before laminating them. We kept them up as an anchor to the message of the story. Target had a small version of the book (size, not content)

That's one of my favorite sayings...I sure think it would be cute for the garden theme. I used to have some pencils that said that on them. I ordered them from some company ages ago. I am sorry that I can't remember where.

I used the garden theme in my classroom a few years ago. I used a park bench for the kids to sit on during silent reading time. They really enjoyed it. Carson-Dellosa also makes a white picket fence bulletin board set. I used it along with a Carson-Dellosa tree in my reading garden. The kids loved it. They made catepillars, bugs, and butterflies for the reading wall which said, "Buggy For Books." I just love themes!

but I think I may have to tie it into the garden theme too. Any ideas for bugs and a bug theme?
