Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am still in my PJ's and I have stayed in bed all day. I watched movies on my laptop and surfed the internet. We have blizzard conditions blowing outside and the snow is piling up. I planned this day for weeks. I'm having a day to myself and basking in the glory of self-absorption. Tomorrow I'll be a good wife but today it's all about me.

Today is looking a bit like yesterday. I'm still taking it easy. DH made coffee for me this morning and fixed eggs for breakfast. It's the first time since his August stroke. He's slow and shaky but he's getting back in the game. I call cooking his at home PT. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Your thinking makes sense to me!

On the outside looking in, I so often think I know how I'll feel one way or the other about something. How I will handle an event, especially the larger ones.

As I recover from a knee replacement, I applaud your plans in this thread. Recovery and healing are two different animals, and it sounds as if you are your DH are dealing well with both.

I am glad for you.
