Gift Bags Depletion

I never though I see the day that I'd start running low on gift bags. Years of teaching 1st grade and kept me steadily supplied but now that I'm retired that source had dried up.

ah but I do love wrapping paper and tape...Not sure about the ribbon and bow thing.

Merry Christmas!

Warning to last-minute wrappers: bows that were purchased 7+ years ago have lost their adhesion, or rather, that little paper that covers the adhesive is now permanently stuck to it, so you can't pull it off. I hope the recipients won't notice the jury-rigged Scotch tape.

We give back the bows that we receive on our presents so the gift giver can have them again the next year. Works for usó and we only do that with our immediate family. It might be too tacky to do with others

I used the same bags for years

The tags stayed on as well so I used the same bags for the same family members each year. My sons recognized their bags without reading the tags after a while. So fun.

This bags were looking pretty worn this year so I bought new ones. They all came from the dollar store this time so they probably will not last as long. The boys will be surprised to see new images on the wrappings this year.

I'm hitting the sales and getting more bags. We have a few that have gone from home to home for years, but are finally giving out. Also going to see what I can get cheap for three grandkids whose birthdays are in the next month.

I still have a Rubbermaid tote with plenty of bags. I went through them when I retired.
