Heís coming home!

Merlin is being released! He has been diagnosed with primary IMHA. His body started attacking his red blood cells causing life threatening anemia. 2 transfusions helped bring his counts up. High doses of steroids will hopefully control it. He isnít entirely out of the woods yet so prayers would still be appreciated. And a corgi on steroids could be interesting. They are a highly food motivated breed. We may lose a few fingers.

Yikes! But I understand he will be very hungry. Poor little guy. So glad he is better and on his way home. I hope he continues to get better.

Good news! Will he be able to eventually get off the steroids?

My corgi is sending your corgi all her best thoughts... just kidding - really she'd just steal his food. But I'm sending all of my good thoughts for continued healing. And that your fingers are safe.
