The new Hide and Eek came today, along with the 2 jars of cat treats needed to bump up the cost to qualify for free shipping. I was really impressed that it arrived so quickly.

I think they like it.

Haha, after all the posts on here about the house, I ran to Target this weekend and got one too. I haven't put it together yet, but my cats are appreciating sitting on the box!

Okay, now I have to post mine.

Ignore the dirty carpet. That is where their cat scratchers go and I am constantly having to pick up the remnants of cardboard....

We have 5 cats. Orangey is the only one who really likes it (as I knew she would...). One of our other cats tried to go inside, but she batted him away. He hasn't tried again... Typical female!

Now Orion is inside. Rhett is still on the roof, probably too chubby to be inside!

I did use clear packing tape in addition to th tape strips on the pieces. I found that last year's Christmas house need that bit of extra support.

I used clear packing tape to reinforce ours, too. I feel a little disappointed that none have really gravitated to it yet I will post a picture as soon as they get brave enough—maybe because it is a haunted house?

Of my 6 cats, so far only 3 have utilized it. Of course, Carys was the first. She even tried to help me build it.

Tomorrow the catnip I ordered will arrive from Amazon. That should be very interesting.

BTW, while searching for catnip on Amazon, 3 houses showed up. One for Halloween, one for Christmas, and a non-holiday one. They didn't show when I looked for cat houses. They're all the same, a simple hut shape. IMO, the Target houses are cuter.
