Funny squirrel story

I was outside and saw that my fairy from the fairy garden I have in a milk can next to the back door was all topsy turvy. On closer inspection it looked like an earthquake came to my fairy world.

I start to put it back together and found that there is a massive nut buried in the pot. A squirrel must have decided that my milk can fairy garden was a good place to store up for the winter.

I don't have the heart to mess up his work. Poor fairies will have to find a new place to play because real squirrels take precedence.

at least for the winter. That is a lucky little squirrel who has a new place to bury his nuts for food storage. Very sweet of you.

Take it as a complement to your fairy garden creation. Out of your whole backyard, the squirrel picked that very place to hide it!

Whenever I hear a squirrel story I think of the book Those Darn Squirrels. My second graders loved it. We have hickory trees in our backyard so we have lots of squirrels, too

That's sweet of you to let the squirrel use your fairy garden.
