Iíve been intrigued by these cooking tools. Does anyone have any experience with using one?

There are so many different ones out there. Iím not sure what to look for.

We have a Sous vide and enjoy using it. DH likes to prepare steaks but we've learned that it's important to finish the meat off on a grill to get the Maillard reaction on the steak. Others may have ideas but there are really only two models of Sous vide. Good luck in finding what works for your family.

My husband uses one to cook steaks. It takes awhile to cook the steak but the end result is very tender and delicious ! He often uses "Americas Test Kitchen" to look for recommendations.

This is our Bible for appliance recommendations: "Americas Test Kitchen".

I have one and use it to cook chicken breasts, then I cut and freeze them for salads. I want to start using it for steaks and pork chops.
