What are you looking forward to this coming week? What are you not looking forward to?

Looking Forward to:
*Christmas shopping
*Sleeping in my warm, comfy bed
*Extra preps this week due to Christmas concert rehearsals that I don't need to be at, which means I will get my grading done and have free nights to watch tv or movies!
*Two dress down days for teachers this week
*Lunch provided for teachers one day this week
*Staff Christmas Party
*Two movies I want to see are coming out this coming week
*Only two more weeks until we get 2 weeks off!

Not looking forward to:
*Snowy, icy weather...enough to make the drive to work difficult but probably not enough for a delay or snow day
*Really cold weather coming on the days I have recess duty
*Keeping the kids calm and productive when they are so excited for Christmas break, with the many schedule changes (not my choice), and the snowy/cold weather
*Figuring out how to fit everything in with so many schedule changes this week
*Still two weeks before break, I feel like this should be the last week because last week seemed so long!
*Making decisions about what to buy people for Chrimstas

* I will see friends I havenít seen in months

NOT:
*working every day

Looking forward to:
*Christmas concert - actual performance
*Being done with the Christmas concert
*Attending the Festival of Lights at the botanical garden
*Having time and energy to get out and snowshoe or maybe cross-country ski.

Not looking forward to:
*Logistics and rehearsals leading up to the Christmas concert
*Freezing rain/snow moving in: it's a lose/lose situation. If school closes I'l lose my last rehearsals before the dress rehearsal. If it doesn't I'll have to get out and slip-slide to work and probably a third of my students won't make it.
*Figuring out meaningful lesson plans for the last week before break, knowing that I probably won't teach half them because I'll find out about changes to the schedule a minute before the students are supposed to be in my room
*Staff Christmas party. I like the people I work with; I just hate parties.
*Dealing with an on-line shopping return
