Too many to pick just one! The two I absolutely must watch are White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street (the one with Natalie Wood as Susan).

Nothing at the moment. I used to watch Jingle All the Way starring Schwarzenegger every Christmastime for a long time, but stopped in the last couple of years. I guess I was getting tired of it.

Our family tradition on Thanksgiving is to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It gets us into the Christmas spirit. It was also one of the movies that my dad giggled at the whole way through. When he passed away, we buried a DVD of the movie with him. And when my mom passed away, we did the same thing.

There are many that I like but these are the ones that I HAVE to watch:
  • Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas
  • The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
  • Christmas Story
  • National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (Did you know this year is the 30th anniversary of the movie and theaters are showing it on the big screen?)

My favorite of all time is White Christmas. I enjoy almost any Christmas movie, buy White Christmas will always be my favorite.

My two sisters and I used to sing the Sisters song from White Christmas at all our family gatherings, just to be silly. Now, when we get together and visit the cemetery where they're buried, we still sing the song together while visiting their grave, if there are no people around.

It's a Wonderful life or it just does not feel like Christmas. I also want to see my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie which was made in 2016. It is titled A Journey Back to Christmas.

Die Hard is, hands down, the best XMAS movie ever. We watch it every Christmas Eve.

Elf, A Christmas Story, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and Home Alone also make the holiday rotation every year.

White Christmas! My brother and sister in law and my DH and me would watch it together every year. When they moved away, out of state, we still watched it and would call each other on the phone to tell each other we were watching it. Now that my brother has died, I still watch it and remember.

My mother and I sing Sisters together.

We also like Miracle on 34th street, the original.

Oh, and I love The Muppet Christmas Carol, but my family doesn’t. The available version has cut out a sweet song I love, though, which I find annoying.

And we do like Die Hard

It's A wonderful Life
Elf
A Christmas Story
Home Alone
Charlie Brown Christmas (ok, this isn't a movie)
The original How the Grinch Stole Christmas (same as above)
A Christmas Carol (esp. with George C. Scott as Scrooge, but Patrick Stewart is good too)
I also very much love Love Actually, but it is not a family movie

We spent Thanksgiving apart and reunited last night. Watched National Lampoon's CHristmas Vacation.

I really can only watch some of the oldies once every 10 years or so. DH used to like to watch It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. I couldn't even sit through them after a while.

Maybe we should watch Die Hard this year. It has been a while.
