Anyone have a REFURBISHED Ring outdoor flood light? They are $100 less and Iím wondering if itís worth the cost effectiveness.

Check to see if warranties are still good. Many time, if they were refurbished at the factory, original warranties are still in effect, making it a really good deal.

Where are you getting the refurbished items? From Ring directly? Iím curious because Iím in the process of figuring out how many cameras I need and the cost is high. Iíve done refurbished electronics in the past. Iíve never had any problems.

Hifi-
It's off Amazon. Refurbished are $149 and new are $249. Reading the Amazon reviews, people say you have to register them to your account. The refurbished ones are registered to the previous owner and the new owner has to call and deal with Ring to change it over.

I did see that Ring does provide a 20% off educator discount when you buy directly through them. That's $50 off the floodlight camera. I may go this route and play it safe.
