Oh, that sure is annoying! I always get frustrated at testing time. The gifted kid who doesn't even take enough time to answer the questions. The kids who painstakingly draw arrays to "show their work" yet get the wrong answer because they didn't actually count what they put in the arrays. The kids who rush through so they can be first or so they can read their book. And those that just pick answers to be done...
If only they were held accountable for these scores. In our district those scores aren't part of their grades. Actually, just a year ago they counted ONLY for the teacher's evaluation. Where is the equity there?
I did much better if I didn't look too closely at them, otherwise, it totally frustrated me.
