I watched Bridgerton. All of it. All 8 hour+ episodes of it.

Please tell me someone else was just as lazy as me!

I've been completely lazy today! Sometimes we need a day like this.

I watched all 8 episodes today too! Hadn't planned on doing nothing but it came so naturally.

I did clean out the refrigerator, start the dishwasher and do a load of laundry. All in-between episodes of Bridgerton.

This quote really spoke to me the other day:

“Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.” Jules Renard

Bridgerton

I was watching it last night on my Kindle when I went to bed around 9:00. And I still hadn't finished it by 5:00 this morning.

The book series is probably my favorite historical romance. As usual, I was disappointed that the people didn't look like what I had imagined. And in some cases, I never in a million years would have thought they looked like that. But it was interesting to see the characters reimagined into a politically correct version. I really don't have a problem with that although it sounds like I do by using that phrase. Like I said, I found it interesting...a refreshing take despite it's historical inaccuracy. If it was truly accurate, I'm sure we would see a lot more bad teeth and skin and dirtier hair.
