The age old NYE question:

Fireworks or gunfire?

I played that a couple times last night. No active 911 calls in my neighborhood or any nearby ones, so I guess it was all fireworks.

Fireworks here at 10:30 when I gave it up as a bad deal and went to bed. 2021 arrived just the same. It really didn't need my watchful eye to get here.

The city news ran a story last night begging people not to celebrate with gunfire. Explaining again that what goes up must come down.

We definitely had both. I was afraid bullets would come through my roof and kill me! Not kidding!

We had showers in the early evening and thunderstorms later in the night. I woke up about midnight to sounds of fireworks. I am glad the storm moved on and now we have sunny skies for the first day in 2021.

We heard only a few fireworks- much fewer than usual.

We have had more gun deaths this year than previous years, though. Perhaps people were tired of that sound.

We had fireworks 100%. In Philadelphia, PA which is 20 minutes away from me there were 10 shootings with 3 murders,
