This is not a vent or complaint. Just makes me laugh. We decided we wanted our garage finished so we hired a company to put up the drywall. When the guy came for the bid I asked him what I can expect for noise because I teach from the dining room. It's unreasonable to ask for quiet or modify what they do. They're on their own time crunch. But the guy who's doing the work. He's had his music on the whole time in the garage. At least my classes ended before the louder part of the job started.

Well, I sure don't think it's unreasonable to ask him to not play music. Or he can use headphones!
