This one looks a lot more livable than the one yesterday. That one was a museum. This one is just formal. I would feel like I needed to be fully dressed with makeup before leaving the bedroom. And I'm a jeans and t-shirt gal.

I personally like it, but everyone has different tastes, of course. It looks like the Buddha's hand with a child's (?) head cradled in it. The current owners are wealthy Chinese, and they very likely commissioned some famous Chinese artist.

ctv, thanks for the explanation. I knew there was something I didn't understand about the sculpture. Not sure if I like it but I always appreciate art when I know the story behind the work.
