Do you watch medical shows?

Can you watch Dr. Pimple Popper, My Feet are Killing Me, or shows like that? Iím too squeamish and close my eyes through a lot of it. They are fascinating but I canít watch the whole time.

Dh watches medical videos on YouTube. If he has a procedure he watches the videos to the point that he could perform the surgery if the Dr. had to leave.

What about you?

I was really into Dr. Pimple Popper there for awhile. I have a hard time falling asleep at night and one of my "strategies" is to watch a show that I'm somewhat interested in, but not so interested that I'll want to stay up longer/continue watching longer if I do feel really tired. Usually that's some sort of TLC type show, so Dr. Pimple Popper fit the bill.

Then I got a giant zit on my forehead that didn't look anything like the pimples I normally get. It had no "head" and was huge, raised, and very sensitive to the touch- looked identical to the cysts on the show. I was totally convinced it was a cyst that I'd have to have some procedure to remove. Yep, I'd seen way too much Dr. Pimple Popper. Thankfully, it went away in a week and I no longer watch the show!

No! I made the mistake of watching Dr. Pimple Popper once for just a short time, and I'm sorry I did. I'm way too squeamish, and I could never work in the medical field.

Itís so gross that I have to look. If I am flipping channels and see that it is on, I will watch the whole show.

I do out of curiosity. I'm not squeamish. But I don't watch regularly by any means. I'll watch an episdoe here and here.

Nope!

on another note:
I also do not watch tv series with a medical theme. I have nurses in my family who constantly dispute the how procedures, etc are done, saying there is no way things would be done like that in real life.

Nope. I have no interest in any of them. But, I don't do reality shows at all. I'm weird like that. I watch way too much tv, but none of it is reality. I like my crap tv the old fashioned way; nice and scripted.

I watch some medical shows, but I have to be in the mood for them. Today I got sucked into YouTube watching shows about kids who had been in horrific accidents and how they coped with recovery. I can watch anything as long as it doesnít involve eyeballs or feet.
