It is odd the random things that are unavailable. Toilet paper and cleaning supplies I understand. Staple food items too, and maybe that’s why you can’t find tomato soup.
Someone I know was just telling me he can’t find fishing lures anywhere.
We are making up our garden supply list now because last year there was a run on everything as people turned to gardening as a pastime.
Okay I know some of you are no doubt already mowing the grass.
I shop at the commissary here, and it doesn't seem to matter which day I go, they are always out of chicken nuggets of the brand I would buy. (DH likes to have them sometimes.)
For a while, I couldn't find the mini cans of Diet Coke. (A mini can of soda is all I can drink. The bigger cans are wasted on me.)
I understand there's a constant shortage of cans, because there is more demand for canned items overall. So that might be why some items are currently out of stock.
I couldn't find Cream of Mushroom soup earlier this year for at least a month. I finally tracked it down at Walgreens of all places. I kept buying two cans (store limit) every time I found it because I was so stuck on not being being able to find it. Now, I think I have 14 cans of it and have to remember NOT to buy anymore.
If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, try that. I just picked up some tomato soup with my groceries tonight and they had tons.
I'm still having a really hard time finding shower cleaner. I like to have the kind you spray every day after getting out of the shower so you don't have to scrub. I know many cleaning supplies were in short supply, but shower cleaner?? That makes NO sense. After not having it for months I finally saw some a bit ago and got 2 bottles. I wanted to take more but didn't want to be selfish- but who knows when I'll see it again!
Our washer and dryer has been on the last leg for a while. Well, we decided to go this weekend and buy them. We went to the largest store in Miami. Our choices were very limited. According to the salesperson inventory is very low due to Covid shutting down factories here and over seas.
