I was just looking at my kinder's handwriting and got so bummed out! For the most part, it's AWFUL! I ran across this post and just checked out Magical Molly's videos. I watched her intro to teachers and she addressed starting some letters at the bottom...it goes along with her philosophy of trying to keep your pencil on the paper as much as possible which she believes helps when transitioning to cursive. Makes sense to me.
Our district uses HWOT but I'm just not a big fan. Too gimmicky.
I just may give this a try! At very least, I'll let parents know about it. Thanks for the great resource!
