No school tomorrow!!! I get a 6 day weekend!!! I was already scheduled to be off Tuesday because we are going to a football game in Atlanta Monday night. Out today and just got the call that we are also out tomorrow for flooding. Yea, me!!!
DH is not helping to get ready for this house inspection he initiated. He is making me mad. I got more done while he was gone today!
We have discovered a few new leaks. Not exactly what you want to discover before the home inspector comes.
Go away rain. It could be worse. Praying for Texas!!!
-this has been the worst start to the year EVER!!!
-Molly is crabby. I just put her in time out.
-I'm really upset. My team mate hates teaching and came in crying. I wish I could do something to help her.
-I have amazing parents.
-I'm so excited, I'm going to see Tim and Faith tomorrow.
-I can not seem to makenmyself go work out. I got out of the habit because of my injury and now I don't want to go.
I haven't slept in my own bed in a month. It. Stinks.
I miss DH.
I'm sick of being screwed around on this house repair. Make up your mind, tell us what we need done, and let us do it. Had you told us you needed everything moved out TWO WEEKS ago, we might actually be home by now. I'm so angry.
I am going to complain to the medical group about their lack of follow through. When the PA left, none of my records were transferred back to the doctor. I reordered my Xanax a couple of days ago. I picked it up about 20 minutes ago after calling the pharmacy to have them the request to the doctor several hours ago. I then called the doctor's office after I called the pharmacy to ask if they had gotten the request. Yes they had. This was 5 hours ago. Just got the email about 45 minutes ago telling me they finally got the prescription and it was filled. There is no sense to that. All someone has to do when the pharmacy faxes the info is to go online (they fax online), check the patient's records, then get the blanket blank thing to the doctor.
Sorry about the rant. Guess who really didn't sleep last night.
I had a good conversation with a friend today .She is leaving our school for a better opportunity. I will miss her great attitude and our conversations.
I am going to get the rules changed on the sunshine committee to reflect some special moments in an older teacher's life as well.
I am experimenting with TPT and put a free product on there at the suggestion of a friend. I have loved learning about tech these past few years
People really want to be helpful. Today we were beneficiaries of so much kindness: DH's caregiver, AAA operator, 2 tow truck guys, mechanic, neighbor. I guess it's pretty obvious DH is quite ill--the tow truck driver insisted on giving him an icy cold bottle of water in our heat wave.
However, I made an appointment with our ridiculous trash company 2 weeks ago to haul away an old BBQ today--for an extra $50. Did they show up? Nope.
Blah!!!! My feet hurt. My sinuses are inflamed from smoke in the air. I screwed up a lesson. I forgot to thank a friend. My cat is 8 months overdue on shots and the vet keeps telling me she is "on the list". Yep...time to go to a different vet. I didn't grade the papers yet.
Yah!!!! I get to go away for the weekend with DH and no kids. Restaurants, hotel, good friends, and fun activities. Suitcase packed. Laundry done, dishes done. Not stressing about screwed up lesson. Excited about new friendship. My students are adorable and hard working.
Ah, man! I missed this yesterday because I went to bed so early!
First week back to school after my surgery. School has been in session for over two weeks already. This week was clean up/catch up week after having a sub.
My knee ached all week. I couldn't stand, sit, or walk for long or very far. I came home exhausted each day. Teaching is hard work when a person is healthy. Teaching with a healing knee (total knee replacement) is torture!
I still don't sleep well which makes me even crankier!
