My UI ran out and on-line UI says to check back after 10/18 for certification. Has anyone begun receiving UI for the 13 week extension? It's supposed to be automatic.

I'm on an extension. I don't know how long. It was automatic. but I have to keep certifying. I don't get 100/week, so I don't get the stimulus. I'm in California.

I have been lucky enough to sub a couple of days a week. I probably won’t even be eligible by the end of October, unless my district shuts down and goes full remote.

After being told I was done at least until the new year of EDD eligibility, I did get a notice stating I was being extended.
I do not think it is automatic, I think they review each case since they initially said I was done.

I would like to know however if extended claims can be cancelled if we earn too much.

There was a one week delay before my extention, and then my first week I went out and earned the maximum of $675. My 2nd week I earned $300. How much do I need to earn each week before they cancel me?
I submitted my first two weeks extention yesterday. I don't know if I will get anything for the 2nd week. I obviously won't for the first week. my claim is $362 per week.

I also only got five weeks worth of $300 weekly stimulus after the $600 ran out, although my claim went on for eight more weeks. My claim ended Sept 19, but my last $300 check was for the week ending August 29.

Is five weeks the maximum for everyone?

I am on extension for my weekly benefits and I received five $300 payments, I am not working at all right now and I do believe the five payments will probably be all I receive. My EDD extension will run out mid December so we will see if there is another extension after that.

Your state might have something called extended benefits, or something similar. You have to usually get in touch with someone on the phone and apply for it. I know it’s harder to get approved if you didn’t make a lot of money in the four or five quarters of the year they examine your income from. I imagine every state has a variation of this.

Also, I did get the PEUC. I am hopeful that a stimulus benefits package gets passed( after the election or the inauguration I guess at this point) and will let us have more weeks for UI. Districts that opened virtually here aren’t giving us too many jobs.

So this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see that EDD had deposited the sixth $300 payment into my account. So I am definitely pretty sure that’s the last one. Praying that everyone else gets theirs! I am praising God for His ongoing faithfulness!

I was getting reduced benefits because I was doing 15 hrs per week as an SEA sub. I got a letter letting me know I am approved for the extension. I only plan to sub by request. I don't think I can do a whole day of parents in my face while Im remote teaching. Most parents that came into my support zooms were fine, but I see the potential for trouble.
