Where do you buy picture frames?

I need about 5 and the prices seem SO high to me.

If you buy reasonably priced frames, please share your secrets.

I never need anything beyond fairly basic wood or metal. I wait for a Michael's sale or coupon, or hit Marshalls, Home Goods, Kohls.

Hobby Lobby has theirs on sale 50% off every other week.

They are definitely not a high quality, but suffice for some needs---The Dollar Tree where everything is $1.

Otherwise if I want a unique frame, I go to Kohl's with a 30% coupon.

I bought 10 at our local Tuesday Morning last week to use on the groom's table at our son's upcoming wedding. They were $5.99 a piece

Yes to Michael's, Kohls, Marshalls, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning, Bealls and Bealls Outlet (if you happen to be in Florida!) Michael's frequently has them 50% off and I am also a true believer in store coupons. Hobby Lobby has a 40% off coupon every week.

I gave most of my beautiful frames to Goodwill when I downsized (and for this time in my life I love a more streamlined look); many of them came from TJ Maxx. If you’re looking for cheap-but-good, you might want to check thrift stores.

I just bought some large, poster-sized frames at IKEA.

Otherwise I've shopped with a coupon at Michael's.

I love the thrift store idea. One of my favorite things to do is to paint things from there!

Unfortunately, shopping at actual stores doesn’t fit into my pandemic lifestyle at the moment. Wandering around online isn’t nearly as fun as real life wandering. It’s one of the things I’ve missed the most, which I know is a good problem to have. I don’t mean to make light of those who have lost family members and been sick themselves.

Earlier this year I finally framed an enlarged photo that a photographer friend had given me 4 or 5 years ago. I searched for an appropriate frame, and the frame shops were ridiculously expensive. I found one at about 1/3 of the cost at Michael's. They bought out Aaron Brothers, so the frame shop in the Michael's store is still under the Aaron Bros name.

I have been buying frames from Amazon. I get what I want for the pictures, choose the style and the number I need.
