For all you you who crochet out there. I thought this was a neat idea. You crochet one row a day. The color of yarn is based on the temperature of the day. There are charts on the web you can use, or you can create your own. I had never heard of this. I googled temperature afghan and found many sites.

I started a counted cross stitch temperature calendar. There are a lot of patterns from which to choose, but I went with the one below. Maybe next year I can to the tree!

Thanks tctrojan! I’ve been wanting to make a knit temperature afghan for about a year. I might use the color chart from this one.

I love The Crochet Crowd! I've thought about crocheting a temperature afghan, but I have too many other projects going right now. This temperature cross stitch tree is very cool too.

A local news meteorologist, Sue Serio, did this all year in 2020. The final project looked great.
