He's a cat! That's the only reason he needs. Try having 7! These last few months have been interesting. Since I broke my arm I've been sleeping on the couch. It is a bit irritating to see them sleeping peacefully on MY bed!
A couple of the exercises I have to do 3 times a day involve laying on the bed. I usually have to reclaim a part of the bed. At least 1or 2 decide to hang around. Yesterday my oldest one decided to wash my hair as I was trying to stretch my arms over my head with a weighted broomstick. I was in pain and laughing at the same time!
Every night Gretchen positions herself between DH’s legs. He has back problems to begin with and that doesn’t help. I tell him to just nudge her off the bed, but he won’t. So I have little sympathy for him
There have been far too many times when DH and I woke up with him practically clinging to the side of the bed and me squished up against him, and the eight pound cat sprawled across the rest of it.
Cats have no sense of boundaries. Mine plopped down on top of my head to sleep last night. She just laid down right over my head. And to think that I'd been complaining about her being a pillow thief; she can have the pillow if she'll let me keep my head!
The truth is that we spoil our kitties and they are so secure in our love that they do what they want.
