I need a recommendation for a good quality HP printer and info on the instant ink program.

I love the instant ink program. I have been using it for a year. It is really good if you do a lot of colored prints.

I pay 9.99 a month plus tax. So its about 10 dollars. This gives me 300 pages a month . If you do not use all the pages, they carry over to the next month. They will send you ink cartridges when you need them. They really do last. It take 2-3 months before I need new cartridges. You get them before you actually need them. There are smaller plans, depending on what you print. You can also print more pages for a small fee. For my plan you can get 25 extra pages for 1.00.

The printer I have is the HP Envy 7640. I love it. It's a printer-scanner-copier in one. I love this printer. I haven't had any issues since I bought it.

I've used it for a couple of years with no problem. I have a small plan because I do most of my printing for work at work. I don't really print many other things. The ink lasts a long time and the print quality is good.

I don’t understand paying for pages printed and ink? Seems that it would cost more in the long run. Please enlighten me at I just got an Deskjet and XL color ink is only about $20 a cartridge and less for black. I hate to buy ink and pay a monthly fee.

You don’t buy ink. They send it to you. You pay the fee to cover the ink.

We have considered buying one for home. We don’t print even 15 pages a month for the free program. However, ink for the current printers we have costs as much as a whole new printer.

I have an HP regular & HP photo-quality. DH has a Canon.

Often my ink dries out/clogs before I even run out.

I was curious about the HP program because I just spent $53 for black and color ink for my $50 Canon desk jet. I could buy a new printer for what I pay for ink!

A few years ago I started using LD brand ink from LD Products. I get it from Amazon, but you can order from the LD website or other places. It costs about 1/3 the price of the printer manufacturer's ink and I can't tell any difference in the print quality.

It lasts a long time, and I have only had one cartridge not work in my printer. I have an Epson XP-600 printer. It will give me a message that it is not genuine Epson ink, but I click continue and it works fine.

LD makes ink for many different printer brands. The printer manufacturer's ink prices are ridiculous and I refuse to pay it any more.

I absolutely love HP instant ink! No more running out of ink and having to run to the store to finish something!

I have the 300 page plan that I spend almost $10. a month for. When I got my printer last July and signed up, I was able to use coupon codes and had a year worth of free ink.

I bought Jaime Sears grammar task cards last year and Rooted in Reading so I did a lot of printing!

I have the HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 that I bought last summer for about $70 at BestBuy.

I too had enough codes to get a free year. That is a lot of ink! I have two free months left, but plan to continue with the program. It is a great value!
