Students have 4 1/2 days left. I am officially done at noon on Monday...but already feeling like I'm there...not much longer! I will miss some of them!
I've been on vacation since the 24th. Actaully sorted and cleaned my Christmas decorations boxes today. Wahoo feels good to have time to get the house organized.
I was officially off for the school year May 27th, had two days of summer vacation, and went back to work a summer program. So, I have had two days of summer vacation, and won't finish this program until the end of June. But, the good thing is I will have all of July to enjoy!
I've been done since May 21 and I'm already working on ideas for the fall. I feel so bad for all of y'all still in school! Now, I do have to be back August 9th! Please tell me those of you still in school don't have to go back until Septemeber!
Some us were able to take today off as "comp time" for extra events attended, so today was the first day of summer break for me. Since others went to work, I felt like I was playing hookie!
I've been out of school about a week. We're spending the summer in the backyard building things for the grandkids and ourselves to enjoy...treehouse and patio! Whoo Hoo!
May 28th was our last work day. I worked two more past that to organize my room a little better. Last week I attended a two-day math PD, and it was great.
Vacation began at 11:00 today! My team celebrated by going out to lunch together, sitting on the patio at a local eatery and enjoying a cold adult beverage! Unfortunately, I will be back in the building this week to get my room organized for the custodian's summer cleaning.
