Sorry no one has given you ideas.

My favorite lesson was my introduction to fractions in third grade. I used the Hershey Fraction Book which I read aloud. As I read I also demonstrated breaking a Hershey's candy bar apart into its 12 sections as the picture book described. I used the document camera so everyone could see what I was doing as well as the pages of the book. (switching back and forth) The students each had a candy bar as well to do the same. It was challenging to complete the lesson before eating the candy bar! But the students were very motivated to learn about fractions.

I am retired now but found that math lessons which included manipulatives, a read aloud or a video (usually from Study Jams by Scholastic) was better than just a dry lesson straight from the text book.

I was just watching the Fraction Museum video. Could be a nice one to use. You could adapt it to 4th by having them compare, add/subtract fractions, or make equivalent fractions. It would give good opportunity for differentiation, plus showcase how you worked with individuals.

i just did fraction museum (end of 3rd) and it was fantastic. I would definitely do something fraction since it's so hands on. Good luck.
