The local friends of the library group has opened our first Little Free Library. DH made the library for us. He’s started doing woodworking since retirement.
In the 1860s Chinese immigrants dug through granite, often at a rate of a few inches a day, to build train tunnels in the Sierras. These tunnels are now a popular hiking trail.
I put up a squirrel "picnic table" this morning and found this little guy on it. Granted, he's sitting ON the food instead of on the seats, but it's still fun to watch!
It's not real clear because I was on the porch and I made it closer for you to see.
