I've had peppercorn steak cooking in the crock pot all day and I'm making mashed potatoes and some Sister Schubert rolls to go with it. Has anyone experienced the sheer deliciousness of Sister Schubert rolls....oh my, they are oh so good!!
Herb chicken and rice casserole, corn and salad. It is one of our favorite meals... I have not made it in a while because of the holidays. Last night we had pot roast with potatoes and carrots from the crock pot. Tomorrow night those leftovers will go into a homemade beef pot pie. Saturday we had homemade beef vegetable rotini soup. There's lots of that left so we will eat that again on Wed.
I just finished my leftover fajita chicken and rice from yesterday. mmm!
That plus the insane amount of leftover cinnamon breadsticks from lunch (Pizza Hut gave me EIGHT! And EIGHT regular breadsticks - but I didn't bring as many of them home ) ought to fill me up tonight...
This is a store-brand bean soup package wih only dry ingredients and spice packet inside...My DH had the beans cooking for 2 hours, then brown beef, onion and garlic and seasn to taste, then add 2 cans of Rotel tomatoes. Continue simmering. Add meat mixture to beans and cook one more hour.
This is very inexpensive, filling, and makes a ton!
