Parents,

Please save the username and password. I am tired of resetting them.

My number one job right now seems to be resetting passwords and sending parents log in information. All day long. Monday through Friday. I'm being very patient about it but I've wondered why they don't write it down and stick it to the fridge, ya' know? They wouldn't have to wait for my response and then try to get their kid back on track. It just seems like it would benefit them as much as me!

I sent the parents a list with all username and passwords through email. I suggested they print them out or that they look them up as needed instead of guessing and needing a reset because it may take me upto 2 hours for me to reset a password. Fortunately I have not had to do any resets yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Most of the usenrnames and passwords are taped inside homework folders. But who would have thought to bring that home????

I sent an email to each child and each parent the first day we were out of school with all login details for every site we are using.

I have re-sent every one of those emails at least once. It's worrying. They're obviously deleting everything that comes from the school, so what else are they missing out on?

I teach Jr. High and its the same. I send out an email and kids are asking me for the information. Um, it was sent to you. They always say, "Oh, I didn't get it." Yes, you did...Look for it!

Really, it is easier just to be at school. Then again, about half of our kids are still MIA.
